You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.
-Charlie Jones

I have read many books and applied some of the ideas. I love Tucson where I was born and raised and may stay here till I die. An eclectic work background of coffee shops, call centers, locksmithing, and management experience do have common threads but may take more books to suss out the themes.

When I was six years old, I was diagnosed with ADHD and slight dyslexia and may be the most defining characteristics of my life for their positive effects. When I don’t understand a book, it may go back to the library but will sit on my brain until checked out again. Many people with ADHD talk about a hyper focus that comes only on topics they love. Life long learning about personal development is the idea that my brain will not let die.

In March 2017 I said goodbye to a good job at SmartThings as a hiring manager and set out on a journey of writing my first book. After trying and failing at goal exercises since 2007, I earnestly applied several life goal exercises around 2013-2014, and writing a book came up over twenty times. You can learn more about this project, and why I am now giving the yet-to-be-completed book.

I love the city I live in, not just for the great outdoors and vibrant downtown but also for the people. I love getting to know those that visit or live here. If it is running into friends as I walk or ride my bike around town, or meeting new friends in a coffee shop.
